A very short little film, part of a loose cycle of films (& other things), The Streets of New Orleans.
It turns on the rather tart double entendre on display in the title. Shot during Carnival, the film offers nothing for the salacious eye or pop-kulch presuppositions.
At bottom it has all the hallmarks of a parable: it is succinct & carries a hidden moral which is obliquely exposed in the unfolding of a simple event. Not much happens here. A little group of tourists with a camcorder encounters something strange on the back of a building, & reacts, in the manner of tourists, with subdued—grudging?—interest. To be a tourist is to feel an obligation to see the sights, & more importantly, get it on tape. They got it on tape. Of course, the cognoscenti will grasp the irony that Villere in the Tremé is well off the path beaten by legions of run-of-the-mill sightseers. But it’s not too far of a stretch in this age of post-Katrina disaster tours: grand-scale rubbernecking. As to the moral, it has something to do with the dissonant interplay between three cities piled on top of one another: the New Orleans on offer by the tourism industry, the New Orleans of myth & folk legend, & the New Orleans of gritty reality, run-down, put-upon, & shrugged-off.
It is also an ecphrasis on a real piece of art. The mural, motionless but otherwise as depicted here, is actually to be found on that wall in N. Villere St.
Compelled to assign it a genre, I would struggle to find anything better than ‘magical-realist readymade’.
One might also with some justification consider it a heterodox music video. The music heard in the film is ‘Ory’s Creole Trombone’, by Spike’s Seven Pods of Pepper Orchestra. This band is none other than Kid Ory’s Original Creole Jazz Band; the Pods of Pepper name was used for a couple of recordings on the fly-by-night Sunshine label in Los Angeles in 1922. In addition to being a lively & propulsive tune ideally suited to the gist of the picture, the cut also has historical cachet: it is the first jazz recording made by the music’s black New Orleanian progenitors.

A NEW TOMORROW is a award winning mockumentary. I love the trailer and this is so great that there are people out there who don’t take themselves so deadly serious.
Sex, Drugs, Rock, Religion and Politics . . .
A New Tomorrow is a hilarious mockumentary that skewers the Christian Right, lampoons dysfunctional Democrats, takes aim at the War in Iraq, and caricatures the Bush Administration. Oddball characters, irreverent dialogue, and outrageous political commentary provide insight into–and poke fun at– how we vote in America.

The short video “Emotionaly Disturbed” is an animatic of a scene of a feature screenplay I wrote last year about serial killer kids.
I did it as a demo for cartoon network adult swim. That’s a cartoon cable channel in America that has night-time adult cartoons.

THE GAY MARRIAGE THING (trailer) BY STEPHANIE HIGGINS

The Gay Marriage Thing is a trailer of a documentary, which is one of the films I would love to watch and hope to get a chance one day. Great piece of work.
The Gay Marriage Thing presents the politics, the piety, and the people embroiled in and affected by the heated debate over same-sex marriage. With its refreshingly atypical style of cinematic storytelling, this scrapbook narrative boldly cracks open the headlines to explore humanity. Resonating with people on all sides of this issue from Virginia to Utah and Iowa to California, this quiet American story is a snapshot scrapbook of the social struggle of our time.

Love the short, great story. Strongly recommended to watch.
Written and directed by Branden Stoltz.
A guy and Girl have been going out together for quite some time, the guy is irresponsible and immature and the girl is emotional and clingy.
It’s a funny take on figuring out why these two fools would ever fall for each other.

Below I am giving you a few information about one of the producers Rama’s Screen.
Those who know me well as a guy who knows a lot about movies have known me. My friends would ask me what movies to watch, they would frequently call my cell phone asking if I can recommend any DVDs to rent… all sorts of stuff. And so my graphic designer friend, KC suggested I should write a blog. I’m not computer savvy so he set up the website and by January 2007 Rama’s SCREEN was born.
It was originally meant to be a movie, book and music review but then we figured it’s too much and we need to have just one niche. So we went with movie only.
But then movie reviews alone are boring. I figured if we want this thing to be awesome, then we gotta add some more awesome stuff that’s movie-related
Rama’s SCREEN is a movie opinion/commentary website for movie discussion.
So I started posting movie headlines. Movie info I read from other movie news websites… and then I add my opinion into the info.
You don’t need to register to leave comment on Rama’s SCREEN. There’s no log in necessary.
On the sidebar of the screen page, you’ll notice that we’ve made some features available to all visitors that check out the site.
If they want to know what’s showing in theaters this weekend, they can click on ‘In Theaters’ and find out.
If they want reviews, there’s LATEST REVIEWS.
If they want to know what will be available on DVD’s they can click on ‘Ready on DVD’
If they want to choose which genre to watch.. I’ve put them in categories.. action, thriller, drama, comedy, horror.
If they want to know what I recommend.. they can go to ‘Rama’s List’
If they want to look for something, they can simply type in the keyword into the searchbox and press enter.
It’s as simple as one, two, three.
I had permission from seeing-stars.com to use their information on weekly schedule of Red Carpet Premiere
I’ve been in contacts with Representatives from Lionsgate, Focus Features and Peace Arch Entertainment, they’ve been sending me cool trailer, images, and info from their studios’ upcoming movies.
I’ve been working with YSN.com as their movie guy.
I was featured on “United 300″ which won Best Spoof at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.
I’ve been in contact with a local radio talk show host who wants to cooperate with me.
And now I’ll be cooperating with bulletfilm.com as well.
Rama’s SCREEN is there for the movie fans… people like you and me who love to watch and talk about movies.
Rama’s SCREEN is Free and is Updated Daily and is Best Viewed using Mozilla Firefox.
And best of all, I’m a big supporter of free speech… meaning if you’d like to express your movie opinion in your own slang a.k.a grammar out the window.. then by all means, go ahead!
I’ll keep the website’s language simple, fun and straightforward!
A CURSED NIGHT (PART 1) BY GORA CHAND
A CURSED NIGHT (PART 1) BY GORA CHAND
http://bulletfilm.com/movie/263
Few years ago I was facing a mysterious event. This movie is based on that event. Quite scary short. The short is divided into three parts so don’t forget to watch the remaining once.
http://bulletfilm.com/movie/263
Below is what Gora has to say about his work and him as an actor.
I started my acting carrier in 1998 in Calcutta (West Bengal)(India). Then I performed many stage shows (Drama) in different types of subject like
Socialism, Historical, Political, Science
Fiction, Criminology, Romantic, Horror, Mysterious etc. Beside those stage shows I participated as an actor in some movies. The characteristic of the movies and
stage shows basically depends on tragedy, comedy, romantic etc.
When I felt deep attraction to acting world, just then I decided to attend a very
good and well-known acting institute. So the struggle to fulfil my dreams of successful acting career began. I am still optimistic when it comes to achieving my goal
(I’m doing it with a breakable will and golden dream in my heart and mind).

“Zealot” at least the trailer looks good a film – even though it’s a horror- I would like to watch and many bulletfilm.com users would agree with me since the film is quite popular.
Madman thinks he is killing for God. Stalks and kills those he thinks are sinners.
http://bulletfilm.com/movie/257
Below is a little bit about Jeff and his work.
I first got interested in photography at around age 6 using my Mom and Dads old brownie box camera. In Junior High I became interested in film making and started making my own little 8mm (and later super
monster films. These were anywhere from 3 min’s long to 15mins.
I’ve been a freelance photographer since 1991. I sell some of my photography here: http://www.lulu.com/content/22923 and at 2nd April Galerie & Studios in Canton, Ohio.
My work has been in magazines and hard cover books including two “Best of Photography” hadrcovers and several books published by the International Library of Photography. I have done the photography for a band album cover(SplitFyre) and publicity photos for bands, actors and a fashion house. I have also shot weddings and events.
My work as been in local museums and galleries. Last year (2007) I became certified by the International Freelance Photographers Organization as a Master Photographer and on Jan 2,2008 was inducted into their Freelance Photographers Hall of Fame.
I also worked as a volunteer running a TV camera and working as floor director for The Community Television Consortium for several years. During which time I was also editor for the now defunct E-Zine Eclecticity Ezine
In 2005 I joined a Film makers Group sponsored by a local museum and this led to becoming the still photographer and being on the lighting crew for “Prodigal Daughters” a recreation of a lost silent film which took a year to complete. This was done by Blue Leo Film. Soon after that I was an extra and Boom operator for “Reunion” a short film by Pixler Perfect Productions. Also during this time (2006) I was a 2nd unit cameraman for Eerie Frequency’s “Shadow in The Woods” a horror film with Conrad Brooks, Lindsey Sokol, Michael Sheard, and Lloyd Kaufman among others. During this same period I started my own little production company Blue Kat Pictures and filmed my first short “Discarded” which stars Kipp Poe Speicher and was co-directed by Bryan Pixler.Soon after I was approached by Horror author Dale Pierce to do a film based on one of his stories. Museo Taurino! ( 2006 ) I released this as a Blue Kat Pictures with Boneyard Filmworks. I was planning on Blue Kat for family films and comedies and Boneyard for Sci-Fi and horror but they became one company because reviews kept putting them together so why fight it? LOL In Dec of 2006 I once again filmed with Dale Pierce. This time it was “The Monster Within” a short 22 min film dealing with Ghost and stars Mr.?????, Gwendolyn, Denise Daliege-Pierce and Luke Menapace. I also did the music for this using music composing software . We also did “Weirdo” in 2007. A film that’s as strange as strange can be. We just wanted to do something totally off the wall.
In 2007 I was approached by Cetus Productions with a chance to help produce “Craig” (2008) which stars Kim Sřnderholm and “The Horror Vault” (2008) which stars Kim Sřnderholm , Heather Tom , Mandy Amano and Russ Diaper among others. At the same time I started production on “Zealot” which is still unfinished but will be finishing up this summer and started working again on a film I had started on in 2006 called “Maniac” which features Conrad Brooks,Travis Bowen and David “the rock” Nelson.
Last summer (2007) I worked on two films for Deadly Underground (http://www.deadlyunderground.com/twilight.htm ) “The Vamp wore White” and “In a Zombie’s House” as set photography and set assistance.. Also worked on a “48 hour film project“ “Marvelette VS The Rubber City Madman” (2008)-Cameraman/Staff for Little Hollywood Productions. An indie film group out of Ohio.
I guess that’s about it. My website has a list of films I have planned for the future if all goes well.

The Synopsis
THIS IS BASED ON A TRUE EVENTS….KESULAT…. When young aspiring English photo journalist, Kate Osman, gets off the plane in Kosovo, her friend Sophie Leclaud, an international news correspondent, takes her on a journey of discovery….. The great unresolved conflict of The Balkans.
Sophie tells Kate about the story she is working on about two families, one Albanian the other Serbian – friends and neighbours thrown into conflict by the war between the two nations in 1999 over the ownership of Kosovo. ….Dr Alban Bregu is the village doctor. An Albanian whose patients include his neighbour, Dragan Mulutinovic, a Serb, who lives in the village with his beautiful wife Slavica and ageing father, Milan. When Milan becomes increasingly ill – it is Alban who is there to administer drugs and friendly support. As Milan says, Alban is a “brave old Albanian”.
Alban’s bravery is tested when he receives a threat to “Stop treating our enemies, or DIE!” However before this threat becomes a reality, the entire village is thrown into panic and mass exodus by the imminent invasion of the Serbian army.
Dr. Alban and his wife, Teuta, have to flee their home, taking with them their two children and Alban’s mother Xhevrije.
